Q: How do I know what size to order ?
A: The sizes of all of the designers’ maternity dresses that we stock are based on your pre-pregnant size, although variations do occur between the different designers and you may also need to consider the material (for example, Nicole Michelle’s lace dresses are a small cut, so they recommend you order one size larger than your normal pre-pregnant size).
Also take a look at all the size charts on our Sizing page – this will give allow you to measure yourself and compare against each designers’ size chart.
The Madeline Isaac-James maternity bridal collection is only available directly from the Madeline Isaac-James boutique (www.madelineisaacjames.com) or from an approved stockist (see www.maternityweddingdress.co.uk and the staff will be able to help advise you on the best size to order from them.
Q: Can I try on these collections in advance of placing an order ?
A: We have now moved the sale of Nicole Michelle dresses to online only, however the Madeline Isaac-James maternity bridal collection is available to try on at the Madeline Isaac-James boutique in Farnborough, Hampshire (www.madelineisaacjames.com) or via approved stockists - see www.maternityweddingdress.co.uk for details of your nearest stockist.
Q: What payment methods do you accept ?
A: To give you maximum flexibility, we are happy to take payment by debit card (Visa debit/Switch/Maestro/Solo) or credit card (Visa, Mastercard).
Q: Do you offer an alterations service ?
A: Absolutely - this is a crucial requirement for any reputable bridal company to ensure their brides receive the very best service. Whilst it's often not necessary to have any major alterations on many of the dresses available online, we do offer an alterations service if required at the Madeline Isaac-James bridal boutique (additional fees apply) This is all a part of the full-service environment that we believe is crucial to ensuring you receive a fantastic end-to-end service from Bridal Bumps ! Sorry, but we do not offer alterations on any dresses purchased elsewhere.
Q: How much experience do you have in providing maternity bridal wear ?
A: Great question (and it's worth also asking this with any other providers that claim to have a wealth of experience!) We have not only been selling maternity wedding dresses since 2002 and have helped over a thousand expectant brides in that time, but we also design our own label collection, so you are assured that we really understand the very specific needs of the expectant bride and how best to help her find her perfect maternity gown. Our philisophy from Day 1 has been the same - we aim to provide you with beautiful gowns and great customer service - we believe that you do not have to compromise on your wedding gown just because you're pregnant. It's a very simple philisophy and one which has stood us in good stead and earned great reviews from the most important people to us - our customers.
